Blast from the past week:
Dean D was sustained as the new executive secretary - now we need a new Priesthood Quorum President. Matthew B was sustained as a member of the Fellowshipping Committee and Rick F as a member of the Activities Committee with a focus on OCBC. The Stake sustained Cindy H as a Stake OCBC Representative. During sacrament meeting, testimonies were shared, hearts touched and our ward strengthened. Thanks to those who voiced their testimonies this month and remember the Bishop's challenge to share yours sometime this year in any setting of your choosing. Thanks to Martine J for her continuing dance instruction every 2nd and 4th Thursday in the Bryan Building.
We had a wonderful evening in the temple on Friday evening with 15 ward members attending. It was great to be in that special place with people that we love.
We had an "Eggs"-cellent "Eggs"-stravaganza for Break the Fast thanks to the marvelous Anne P and Break the Fast committee. Thanks to those who brought food to share. It is a nice time to share food and friendship!

On Wednesday, March 31st the OC Mormon Choir and Symphony Orchestra will be performing the world premiere of Messiah in America, a new oratorio composed by Brett Stewart.
Restaurant Rush and Game Night will be on Friday, April 2nd. We will meet for dinner at 7:00 p.m. at The Spaghetti Bender, 6204 West Coast Highway Newport Beach, CA 92663. After dinner we will meet at our home, 12 Timbergate Irvine, CA 92614 for games. We would love to have you join us for either or both events!!!
April 3 & 4 will be General Conference. General Sessions will be at 9 & 11 on both Saturday and Sunday, with the Priesthood Session on Saturday at 5:00 p.m. You can watch it on cable TV, on the internet or at the church.
